Synopsis:
To counter the unstoppable march of the demon army, the human empire sent a suicide squad deep into enemy’s territory to assasinate the Demon king. After a fierce and dangerous battle, Magic swordsman Kail finally managed to kill him. On the verge of death, Kail saw a curious relic which was in the possession of the Demon Lord. The relic sent him to the past before the invasion happened. Waking up with memories of the future fully intact, he takes advantage of this chance and decides to prevent the upcoming tragedy.

You can get digital copies/scanned copies of the illustrations from the 5 light novels that are out. (or get the copies yourself, new/used) Other than that, I’m not sure how being in Japan can give you an advantage.

We translate the webnovel, so for the actual translations we are doing it isn’t neccessary to do anything. But what you can do, is look for the light novels for pictures! But that’s your call, thanks a lot for the offer to help!

Was wondering whether the translator/editors or any of the readers here can answer a question about the series.
The ranking for the magic & magicians are confusing to me… When explaining the rank of the magicians (Kail’s mother introduction as an archmage) archmages were introduced as those who can use the highest rank magic. But in a later chapter (Kail and Sildonias talking about soul fusion) it was mentioned that there was no one who could use highest ranked magic among the human side currently and that those rare users leave their name in history.
What’s the deal?

Woops, missed this question.
The tiers probably shifted. In ancient ages people were able to use highest tier magic, so the ones capable of highest tier magic were called archmages.
In the present age, no one is capable of using that so called highest tier of magic, which is why the people capable of using ‘high’ tier magic (not highest tier) are called archmages now.
The ‘highest’ tier magic of the current age is probably the same as ‘high’ tier magic in the past.
I’ll have to read back to see if it’s correct though.
Could also be that Kail’s mother is one of the exceptions~

There are a lot of people online that are saying that this series is being translated way too slowly to be followed properly. Of course, translators are doing this on the sacrifice of their own time as service and don’t have an obligations to speed up; I much prefer quality releases that come out slowly than fast releases by people who use machine translators or can’t even write in proper english.
But I do concur with the sentiment that this series is coming out……really slowly. At the rate of one short WN chapter every 4-6 weeks. It might take longer than a year to finish up the current volume. The monthly manga is considerably slow with a measly 19 pages but the manga is still going ahead much faster than the WN translations currently. I was wondering if you guys thought of looking for someone to collaborate on this project so that they can translate during periods when you’re struggling with IRL issues. Of course, preferably someone good enough so that the collaboration doesn’t result in quality drops.
I hope my language didn’t sound like it was complaining or insisting, that wasn’t my intentions. I just wanted to bring it up as an issue that might have a solution. If nothing further can be done, I don’t have a right to say anything.

I mean have you actively put a statement out there on this blog and other websites looking for translators? Otherwise people might not come to you. Some people might think you might not want or need help, some consider it stealing other people’s projects, or they may be busy taking requests from other people asking for help.
The downside to this is that you might get an influx of offers from people who suck at translator or doesn’t rely on Japanese knowledge to translate….ugh the plague.

What you can do as a test is to be shown a translation of the same next chapter your team already translated before it’s released. It should be pretty clear that the other person is using MTL or has crappy english if you make the comparison. I don’t know how other people do it, but there are others who check the quality of translations before accepting people into their team.

Oh btw, it seems like the raws of Tsuyokute New Saga for Volume 6 are being released by the author on the web novel site. I know volume 6 is a long way off, but it’s best to collect it now before they disappear again.

About four years ago I played a game that this story looks like it was based off of, but now I can’t seem to find it…. Sigh, it crossed over the line from ecchi right into hentai at times though; so its probably for the best that I can’t find it.

For those who always complaining to speed up the translation, here’s some problematic fact that even though it’s speeding up it will definitely stuck at some point no matter who the translator is, that is the fact that volume 3 and 4 have no raws available.

I think that the solution is simple..who wants the trans to continue should download scanned jap version and rewrite it to text using google trans tool for handwriting.

It’s November 21, 2016. Looks like Volume 2 – Chapter 9 was the last updated chapter from this group…back in December 31, 2015. Nearly a full year without a single update.
The raws extend far beyond this at this point. Timeliness aside, it seems there are no plans far anyone on this staff to resume translation. I’d like to hear official word on the status before scavenging the previous works and cannibalising them for my own projections.
Continuing with a release within a few weeks, or is this a dropped project?

https://www.lightnovelbastion.com/ picked up the LN of Tsuyokute New Saga. The version here is the WN of which the raws are hard to find or non-existent, so they started over with the LN version.
